14k gold teeth...found in the trash.
Now see — this is why you should brush your teeth, so that rubbish removalists like me don’t have the chance to come in and take the ones that have fallen out of your head.
I found this tiny box of gold — yes, real gold (may be 14k gold) — teeth in a dresser drawer while I was on a NY house cleanout job in Queens, New York. The lid on the box says, “Roosevelt Dental Studios Inc. in 1-7295.”
The little box of teeth was just hanging out in an old dresser drawer.
The business started on Nov. 13, 1961, according to seravia.com, but it doesn’t specify when the practice closed. I do know, however, that it was located at 136 76 Roosevelt Ave. in Flushing, New York.
If I’ve learned one thing from this trash removal job, it’s that you don’t need to go far far away to pan for gold — just look in the trash.
