DiMola crew shows its fun side
In all my years as a rubbish removal guy, I’ve learned how to work hard but play harder. After all, my crew and I are not always working in the most luxurious of conditions and, at the end of the day, we’ve got to make the best of it.
Picture this: It’s a hot summer day in New York City. The 90 degree heat is inching toward 91. You tell yourself there’s no way it could feel any hotter, until it hits 100. That’s when you find yourself appreciating, and even hoping for, 90 degree days whenever you can take them. You get to the apartment building where you were hired to do a rubbish removal job.
You and the crew start sorting through all the garbage in the attic (and sometimes the basement), careful to examine each piece in case it could have a home in your own personal antique collection. You’re rummaging through a vintage closet when your crew member comes across a couple of old dress-up hats and a box of Valentine’s chocolates that are older than you are.
And you just think: Why not?

Hope the Valentine’s chocolates were Yummy!
