Trash crew finds Japanese airline utensil set in Queens garbage picking
One thing I love about my job is that not every antique I find has to be huge. Take this Japanese utensil set, for example. It’s small, but it’s a cool find that came from a real estate cleanout job last week in Queens.
The set comes in an already-opened plastic packet and was intended for a Japanese airline. It has two spoons, one knife and a toothpick. Each utensil is made of metal, which is another reason I feel lucky to have found this set – it’s unlikely that metal knives will ever be allowed on planes again.
After all, garbage picking never lets me down.
Check out these images of the utensil set.
