Cha-ching! Scored big bucks in Queens basement cleanout
Money, money, money!
I came across a box of old money when I was cleaning out an old basement in Flushing, Queens. There were several packages of German mark bills, each with a wrapper signed by an Army major.
Dated August 22, 1922, the wrappers state that each stack of bills is 100 mark — or about $70.
I hit the jackpot with this money find in a basement clean-out in Queens
