Waste collection company finds vintage fix-it tool in furniture removal job
We sure don’t fix pots like we used to.
I found this gadget called “Mendets” in a residential furniture removal job a few years back. It’s a round object used to plug a hole in a broken saucepan or cooking pot. It mends the hole instantly, and there’s no need to add any adhesive material. It has a thin threaded screw, with a very small nut. You put the screw through the hole, tighten it up, and the pot is sealed extremely tight.
