Ridgewood rubbish removal team challenges Crayola with vintage Tom Sawyer crayons

Every once in a while, it’s nice to add some color to life. Literally.

I found these vintage Tom Sawyer crayons years ago on a garbage cleanout in New York City. They’re from 1933, which is cool, but what makes them really special? There’s not one missing.

Think about it. These crayons were produced more than 75 years ago. In 75 years, the kids who played with these crayons didn’t lose or break a single one. Who were these kids, and where did they learn to be so careful!?
