Attention New Yorkers: DiMola Bros has what you need for next big snowstorm
Well, this would have come in handy a few weeks ago.
It’s a hose with a funnel that attaches to your car exhaust pipe to melt ice or snow — perfect for snowstorms like the one we just had this month.
Cleverly named the “SNOW-GO Exhaust Pipe Snow and Ice Melter,” it has a funnel on each end so that once the ice or snow melts, it can flow through the hose and be deposited through the other end.
Based on the car in the photo of the hose’s packaging, I’d say this product was made in the 1960s. I put it on my 1976 Lincoln just to show how it connects. (But let’s be honest: My car wouldn’t be caught running — or even parked — outside of anything but a garage in bad weather.)
The label shows that it was made in the good ol’ U.S. of A. and that it reaches about 12 feet long. It’s fast, it’s effective, and it melts the snow and ice in minutes!
