The landmark Ridgewood Theater near the Brooklyn/Queens border is getting ready for its next act as a supermarket, which means it’s time to bring in the professional trash removers. And what they had to say is going to make the people campaigning for the landmarking of the theater’s interior pretty happy: professional rubbish remover Nick DiMola, who estimated theater cleanup costs, tells the Daily News the theater is still full of “historic treasures” inside, like an old projector, carvings, and seats. The Daily News hasn’t posted any interior photos, but that’s okay! DiMola, a vintage trash aficionado, plans to post them on his garbage blog next week. (One of his recent finds, a vintage vending machine, at right.) Will trashblogging work on the LPC?
